Xtra (Ottawa)

Founded in 1993, Xtra is Ottawa's gay and lesbian newspaper.

Since its debut, Xtra has been the most significant media force in the national capital region's gay and lesbian community. Xtra thrives as a result of its strong local focus on news, arts and entertainment coverage.

Published 12 times a year, Xtra maintains a fiercely loyal readership. Each issue of 17,000 copies reach 30,600 readers.
